Taj
Mahal Tour is a good introduction to India for the lay
traveler. The cities of Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur are
exotic, as well as understandable - or so you think,
until you get into the streets. Then you realize that
three are some things you simply cannot prepare for:
the intensity of the massive poverty; the religious
diversity; shocking government hotels; antiquity still
everywhere you care to look; the scale of the Taj
Mahal; the mystique and audacious grandeur of the
ancient Mogul architecture; the chauvinism; the
environmental desecration.and the traffic.
