Day - 01 - Delhi
Our representative welcomes you at Delhi
Airport and escorts you to the hotel for
overnight stay.
Day - 02 - Delhi
Leave for post-breakfast sightseeing tour
through the capital city. Spend the whole day
gazing at the famous historical landmarks like
the towering Qutab Minar, Humayun Tomb, Red
Fort, Jama Masjid, India Gate and Raj Ghat,
Gandhiji's memorial. Return to hotel for
overnight stay.
Day - 03 - Delhi -
Jaipur

Early morning, leave for Jaipur by road (6
hours). Reach Jaipur and proceed to the hotel
to refresh yourself in the serene ambience of
the 'Pink City'. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day - 04 - Jaipur
Leave for a full day guided tour of the Pink
City after breakfast. Gaze at the incredible
beauty of Amer Fort, enjoying a joyride at the
back of caparisoned elephants. Proceed to a
visit to the striking Hawa Mahal, the amazing
Jantar Mantar Observatory, royal City Palace
offering glimpses of Mughal architecture,
Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli and Johari Bazaar.

Day - 05 - Jaipur -
Agra
After breakfast, get ready for a road journey
to Agra. Stop at the midway Old Mughal City of
Fatehpur Sikri for a short visit. Continue
drive to Jaipur. Transfer to hotel upon
arrival at Jaipur for lunch. After a brief
rest, leave for a sightseeing tour covering
Taj Mahal, one of the world's stunning seven
wonders and the equally charming Red Fort and
Itmad-ud-Daula's Tomb. Return to hotel for
dinner and overnight stay.
Day - 06 - Agra -
Varanasi
Early morning, arrive at the Airport to board
onward flight to Varanasi. Reach Varanasi
Airport and proceed to the hotel. After lunch,
leave for a tour through the religious city of
Sarnath. Visit Dhamekh Stupa, the famous
shrine where Buddha preached his first sermon.
Overnight stay at Varanasi hotel.
Day - 07 - Varanasi
Take a boat ride through the River Ganges in
the early morning hours enjoying the scenic,
pure ambience. After breakfast, leave for a
day full of visits to the several beautiful
temples like Vishwanath Temple, Bharat Mata
Temple, etc. that mesmerize you with their
spellbinding architecture. Return to hotel for
dinner and overnight stay.
Day - 08 and Day - 09
- Varanasi - Bodhgaya
Excursion to nearby Rajgir, Nalanda, Sapta
Pari Cave and Venevamas where you spend two
whole days exploring the significance of
Buddhism. Visit Rajgir, Buddha's domicile for
12 years and the venue for the first Buddhist
Council after he attained Nirvana. Proceed to
Nalanda, the Center of Intellectualism founded
in the 5th century. Return to hotel for
overnight stay.
Day 10 - Bodhgaya -
Vaishali - Kushinagar
Morning starts with visit to Vaishali, an
important Buddhist shrine. The site holds
importance for its association with Lord
Buddha, as he is believed to have delivered
his last sermon and the impending 'Nirvana'
here. Later, proceed to see other important
city landmarks like Ashok Pillar, Lotus Tank
and Chaumukhi. Day ends with drive to
Kushinagar for overnight stay.
Day 11 - Kushinagar -
Lumbini
Leave for post-breakfast sightseeing tour to
Mahanirvana Temple and spend some time in the
tranquil holy ambience. Later, visit the
modern Japan and Sri Lanka Buddhist Center and
monasteries where you can experience Buddhism
from close quarters. Transfer to hotel in
Lumbini for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 12 - Lumbini -
Kapilvastu - Sravasti - Balrampur
Day starts with post-breakfast visit to Ashoka
Pillar (249 BC), a majestic cenotaph built by
King Ashoka at Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord
Buddha. Proceed to visit Mayadevi Temple, an
old Buddhist monastery that today lies in
ruins and some new stupas. In the afternoon,
drive to Balrampur and stop midway at Sravasti,
an ancient deserted city enveloped with ruins.
The Jetavana Monastery here is worth a visit.
Continue drive to Balrampur and proceed to
hotel upon arrival for overnight stay.
Day 13 - Balrampur -
Lucknow
After breakfast, spend the morning touring the
city and sightseeing. Then proceed to Lucknow
(140 km) by road. Reach Lucknow and transfer
to hotel for overnight stay.
Day - 14 - Lucknow

through the city. Be amazed at the majestic
Bara Imambara, a unique architecture
masterpiece built without any pillars, beam,
girder or any other support! Its Central Hall
is the world's largest arched room. The next
stop is Rumi Darwaza, a replica of the one in
Istanbul and a classic example of Awadh
architecture. In the evening, proceed to the
Airport to board flight to Delhi. Reach Delhi
and move to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day - 15 - Departure
from Delhi
Early morning, check out from the hotel and
proceed to the International Airport to board
the onward flight for home |
