Day 01: Arrive Delhi
After your long flight when you arrive Delhi,
which is a palimpsest, bearing the complexities,
the contradictions, the beauty and the dynamism of
a city where the past coexists with the present.
Many dynasties ruled from here and the city is
rich in the architecture of its monuments. The
diverse cultural elements absorbed into the daily
life of the city have enriched its character.
Exploring the city can be a fascinating and
rewarding experience. You would find Indian
Horizons representative waiting for you at the
arrival hall. As soon as you meet him you would
smile, as he would be eager to carry your
luggage's to the parking where a car would be
waiting for you. As you drive towards your hotel
you would find the city of joy is already starting
to get ready for a new dawn and the newspaper man
waiting at the crossing points to sell the
newspaper. Also you would come across slum
dwellers sleeping in the pavement in the street
and would definitely arise a question in you that
how do these people survive. But a matter of fact

Day 02: In Delhi

decided the previous night waiting for you. Once
you have completed your breakfast our
representative would give a brief of the tour that
you proceed for the day and you would be

for the day. Visit the The Red Fort built by
Shahjahan with the ambition of concentrating the
Mughal power in one monument later proceed to Jama
Masjid built by Shah Jahan in 1658 and one of the
largest mosques in India and Purana Quila. Visit
the India Gate built in memory of the 90,000
Indian soldiers who died in World War I. Later
visit the Rajghat, Nizamuddin Complex, Ahoka's
Pillar , Lodi Gardens and explore Shahjahanabad
famous for its mosques. After lunch visit Qutub
Minar, the highest stone tower in India, built by
Qutbuddin Aibak, Birla Mandir known as the Lakshmi
Narayan Temple, Bahai Temple the purity and the
universality of the lord and equality of all
religions. The last stop would be at Akshardham
Mandir where not only you would be able to know
Indian Culture but a Saga of India and its
history. Evening you would have the preference to
either do some shopping or enjoy a Indian Dance.

Day 03: Delhi-Mandawa

arrival check-into a heritage hotel where the

Prachina Museum, Shri Laxminath Temple,
Bhandeshwar Jain Temple and the many Bikaner
Havelis.

Day 05: Bikaner-Jaisalmer
Morning after breakfast drive to the most
exotic and unusal town Jaisalmer referred as the
'Living Museum". On arrival a traditional welcome
would facilitate your check-in at the hotel. After
fresh up drive to Sam Sand Dunes where you explore
the Desert on the camel back and enjoy your dinner
with folk music.

Day 06: In Jaisalmer
A day to explore the mighty Jaisalmer Forts,
The Palaces and the Havelis prominent among them
are the Salem Singh Haveli, Patwon Ki Haveli and
Nathmal Haveli. After lunch with Indian Horizons
guide explore the Lodurva, the ancient capital of
Bhattis is 16 kilometers from Jaisalmer. Mostly in
ruins, it is visited for the great Jain temple,
which contains the most exquisite jail work
screens, grand ceiling and a magnificent triumphal
arch at the entrance.

Day 07: Jaisalmer-Jodhpur
Morning after breakfast drive to Jodhpur
enroute visiting the largest Hindu and Jain
temples group at Osian. On arrival fresh-up
yourself and explore the city with Indian Horizons
guide the invincible Mehrangarh Fort and the
Jaswant Thada, a graceful marble cenotaph built in
1899.
Overnight at Jodhpur
Day 08: Jodhpur- Udaipur
Morning drive to Udaipur en route and tour the
beautifully sculpted 15th century Jain Temples of
Ranakpur. Continue your journey, stopping for
lunch at Maharani Bagh - a mango grove and the
private gardens of the Maharana of Jodhpur.
Overnight at Udaipur.
Day 09: In Udaipur
Tour this famous "City of Lakes," known as
Udaipur, one of the most picturesque and romantic
cities of India. Visit City Palace with its
scalloped arches, fretted balconies and cupolas
Saheliyon ki Bari Garden and the folklore museum
where you can see a presentation of the string
puppets typical to this area. Evening enjoy
boatride at Lake Pichola.
Overnight at Udaipur.
Day 10: Udaipur-Jaipur
Morning after breakfast transfer to the
airport to board your flight to Jaipur. On arrival
Indian Horizons representative would meet you and
transfer you to the hotel. As you come close to
the city you would understand why it's called the
Pink City as the colour adorns the old building,
the clourful bazaar are crowded as 500 years back
it used to be and you would still find the cart is
being pulled by camels with loads and it would
make you feel the life here is moving on it's own
speed. As the city unfolds before you slowly your

Day 11: In Jaipur
