Day 02: In Delhi

Second day of your Golden Triangle
Tour with Kerala starts with a healthy
breakfast followed by a sightseeing
tour. You will be watching the
Secretariat buildings, Parliament House
and Presidential Palace along the Vijay
Chowk. Also, visit India Gate that
commemorates Indian and British soldiers
who dies in the World War. You will then
visit the Qutub Minar, built in 1193 and
the majestic Humayun's Tomb situated in
the enchanting Persian paradise gardens.
Have
fun passing through the narrow lanes of
colorful bazaars of Old Delhi like
Chandni Chowk and Karol Bagh. Pay visits
to the ancient temples and also visit
the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat and
other fascinating places. Return to the
hotel for an overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi - Agra
In the morning you will drive to
Agra, at a distance of 210 kms from
Delhi. Arrive in Agra and check in at
the hotel. In the afternoon proceed for
a sightseeing tour with an Indian
Horizons guide. Visit the most famous
Taj Mahal, which is counted in the Seven
Wonders of the World. More than 20,000
laborers constructed Taj Mahal, a
monument of love built by Shah Jahan for
his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.
Later
visit the magnificent Agra Fort that
comprises of Diwan-e-Am, Shah Jahani
Mahal, Macchi Bhavan and other mosques
and royal pavilions. Rooms at Agra Fort
are cool as the walls are hollow and
filled with running water. Watch clear
views of Taj Mahal and Yamuna River from
the balconies of Agra Fort. Return to
the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 04: Agra - Jaipur
On the 4th day of your Golden
Triangle Tour with Kerala you will leave
for Jaipur. On your way visit Fatehpur
Sikri, at a distance of 40 kms from
Agra. Built by Emperor Akbar in 1569,
Fatehpur Sikri is made up of red
sandstone. Visit the mosques, ruins and
palace at Fatehpur Sikri. Visit the Jama
Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti and Panch
Mahal Palace in Fatehpur Sikri. Later
arrive in Jaipur and check in at the
hotel. Have an overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 05: In Jaipur
Post buffet breakfast at the hotel
go on a city sightseeing tour of Jaipur.
Move towards the ancient capital of
Amber to explore the majestic Amber
Fort. Constructed by Maharaja Mansingh
in the 17th century, Amber Fort is worth
visiting during Golden Triangle with
Bollywood Tour. Enjoy an elephant ride
at Amber. On your way to Amber Fort, you
will also visit the 'Palace of Winds' or
the famous Hawa Mahal. It was built for
the royal ladies to watch the
proceedings in the streets.
Then
you will visit the City Palace in Jaipur
that overlooks the Moat Lake. You will
also visit the Jantar Mantar
Astronomical Observatory made by
Maharaja of Jaipur in 1726. Return to
the hotel for an overnight stay in
Jaipur.
Day 06: Jaipur - Mumbai -
Cochin
Today you will fly to Cochin from
Mumbai. Arrive in Cochin and get
transferred to the hotel for a check in
with an Indian Horizons representative.
Relax a while and then in afternoon go
on a private visit to the home of an
expert Kerala chef to watch out a
cooking demonstration. Then attend a
Kathakali dance performance at night.
You will be thrilled to see the dancers
painting themselves before the dance
performance. Our guide will be briefing
you about the dance performance and the
facts associated with it. Then have an
overnight stay in Cochin.
Day 07: In Cochin
Have fun exploring Cochin
accompanied by an Indian Horizons guide.
Famous as the "Queen of the Arabian
Sea", Cochin has a rich cultural legacy
and is also famous as a seaport. Go on a
sightseeing tour in Cochin and visit
places like the Dutch Palace, Jew Town,
St. Francis Church and Fort Cochin.
Enjoy going on a sunset cruise on the
Arabian Sea. Later return to the hotel
in Cochin for an overnight stay.
Day 08: Cochin -
Kumarakom

On the 8th day of your Kerala Golden
Triangle Tour, you will get transferred
to your resort in Kumarakom. Famous for
its bird sanctuary, Lake Vembanad,
Backwaters and lagoons, Kumarakom is
worth exploring in Kerala. Enjoy a
walking tour in the sanctuary that
houses a number of migratory as well as
resident birds. Have an overnight stay
in Kumarakom.
Day 09: In Kumarakom
Post breakfast check in to the
houseboat in Kumarakom. Experience an
enchanting cruise ride in the backwaters
of Kerala. Watch out the beautiful
scenery outside the houseboat. Enjoy
your meals onboard the houseboat. Have
an overnight stay at Kumarakom aboard
the houseboat.
Day 10: Kumarakom -
Cochin - Delhi
Last day of your Golden Triangle
Tour with Kerala starts with a transfer
to the Cochin Airport along with an
Indian Horizons representative. Board
the flight back home.
