Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Arrive at the international airport in Delhi to begin
your 17-day Extensive Tiger Tour of North India,
arranged by A India Tour.
Our associate will accompany
you to the hotel. Check into your room. Later in the
day, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Delhi.
Visit
Lotus Temple, Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate, Raj Ghat,
Connaught Place, Humayun's Tomb, Jama Masjid, Red Fort,
and Qutub Minar. Return to the hotel for overnight stay
in Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi - Corbett
Book this Tour
Drive to Corbett National Park and Tiger Reserve after
breakfast at the hotel. On arrival, check into the
wildlife resort and go on a walk to the nearby forest
along the river in the evening. Study the flora and
fauna at ease. Return to the camp for bonfires,
barbeques and an enjoyable dinner. Overnight stay at the
camp in Corbett.
Day 3: Corbett Tiger Reserve
Today you will go on two entertaining safaris, morning
and evening, to the Corbett Tiger Reserve famous for its
legendary tiger population. Enjoy the game-viewing and
return to the resort for overnight stay.
Day 4: Corbett Tiger Reserve -
Delhi
After an early morning game safari to the Ramganga
Valley laden with moist sub-tropical forest and a
plethora of birds, animals, reptilian and insect
species, return to the resort for breakfast. After lunch
drive back to Delhi which is 250 km from Corbett. On
arrival, 6 hours later, check into the hotel room for
overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 5: Delhi - Ranthambore
Transfer to the railway station after breakfast at the
hotel. Board the train to Sawai Madhopur, 12 km from
Ranthambore National Park and Tiger Reserve. On arrival
at the station, drive to the wildlife resort. Enjoy the
rest of the day at leisure. You can also attend a tiger
slideshow program in the evening. Overnight stay in
Ranthambore.
Day 6: Ranthambore Tiger Reserve
Enjoy two safaris, morning and evening, to the
Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Ranthambore is ideal spotting
ground for leopard, sloth bear, rhesus macaque, common
langur, nilgai, chinkara, wild boar, jackal, sambar, and
mugger crocodiles. Enjoy the game-viewing and return to
the resort for overnight stay.
Day 7: Ranthambore Tiger Reserve
After breakfast at the resort, go on two more safaris
for a full day of game-viewing. Alternatively, you can
also go on a trek to the Ranthambore Fort and the many
lakes, hills and ancient ruined temples in the region.
After the day's excursions, return to the camp for some
quiet time in your private quarters, or the library or
enjoy the eco-friendly recreational facilities on your
overnight stay in Ranthambore National Park.
Day 8: Ranthambore - Bharatpur (Keoladeo
Ghana National Park)
After an early morning game safari and breakfast at the
resort, drive to Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, Keoladeo
Ghana National Park (400 km from Ranthambore). On
arrival, 6 hours later, check in at the wildlife resort
and proceed for a tour of the bird sanctuary, on foot or
in a rickshaw, which is famous for migratory birds from
as far as Siberia and Iran. Return to the hotel in the
evening for overnight stay in Bharatpur.
Day 9: Bharatpur - Agra
Book this Tour
After breakfast and another ride through the bird
sanctuary, return to the hotel and check out. Drive back
to Agra (55 km from Bharatpur). On arrival in the
evening, 1 hour later, check in at the hotel and go
shopping or indulge in recreational activities. Return
to the hotel for overnight stay in Agra.
Day 10: Agra - Umaria (Bandhavgarh
National Park)
After breakfast, proceed on a half day sightseeing tour
of Agra. Visit Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Akbar's Tomb, and
Itimad-ud-Daulah. Later in the evening transfer to the
railway station for overnight journey to Umaria.
Day 11: Bandhavgarh National Park
Arrive at the station in the early morning and drive to
the wildlife resort in Bandhavgarh. Check into your room
and proceed for a jungle safari to the interiors of
Bandhavgarh National Park. Enjoy the game-viewing and
return to the resort for overnight stay.
Day 12: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve
The day brings to you two entertaining safaris to the
Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve famous for its tiger
population. After a full day of tiger tracking, return
to the resort for overnight stay.
Day 13: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve
Go on another round of jeep / elephant safari. Besides
game-viewing, Bandhavgarh National Park also offers
ample bird watching opportunities. You can also trek on
foot or take a jeep ride to the brooding Bandhavgarh
Fort surrounded by dense forests and haunted by tigers
at night. Return to the resort for overnight stay in
Bandhavgarh.
Day 14: Bandhavgarh - Kanha
After an early morning breakfast, drive to Kanha
National Park (260 km from Bandhavgarh). After a 6-hour
journey, arrive in Kanha National Park and Tiger
Reserve, famous for its white tiger population, in the
afternoon. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy
at leisure. Overnight stay in Kanha.
Day 15: Kanha Tiger Reserve
Enjoy two entertaining safaris to the Kanha Tiger
Reserve famous for its white tiger population. After a
full day of tiger tracking and game-viewing amidst the
glorious landscape, return to the resort for overnight
stay.
Day 16: Kanha - Nagpur
Book this Tour
After an early morning game safari to the lush green
interiors of Kanha inhabited by a startling number of
avian and mammal species, return to the resort for
breakfast. Later in the day, drive to Nagpur (250 km
from Kanha). On arrival, 6-hour later, check into the
hotel and relax. In the afternoon, you can go on a
walking tour of the Suna Winery and nearby orange
orchards that have bestowed the title of 'Orange Capital
of India' on Nagpur. Return to the resort for overnight
stay.
Day 17: Nagpur - Delhi - Departure
Transfer to the airport, after breakfast at the hotel,
for a flight back to Delhi. From Delhi you can catch the
connecting flight heading back home or to your onward
destination.
